The history of Kersten Alginco
Established in 1956 as a subsidiary of the Brothers van Swaay in The Hague, Netherlands, The Brothers van Swaay Suriname N.V. has been the cornerstone of mechanical and electrical installations in Suriname. At its peak, our story took a turn in 1970 when C. Kersten & Co. N.V. took the helm, renaming us to Algemene Installatie Maatschappij N.V. (ALGINCO). Now part of the "Building & Construction" division of C. Kersten en Co. N.V., ALGINCO has consistently set industry standards. In 2021, we underwent another transformation, emerging as Kersten Alginco N.V. a symbol of our enduring commitment to innovation.
Kersten Alginco has successfully contributed to the frequency conversion from 50 to 60 Hz and more recently to major projects at renowned institutions, including Assuria High-Rise B-Tower, VSH, Popeyes, Fernandes Bakkerij, Radisson Hotel, Torarica Hotel & Casino, Telesur, DSB Bank, and the Academic Hospital. Our track record speaks for itself, delivering professional solutions at premier locations.

Management Team
Ons management team, samengesteld uit een diversiteit aan professionals, vormt de drijvende kracht achter Kersten Alginco. Met een schat aan ervaring en expertise streven zij ernaar om de organisatie naar nieuwe hoogten te leiden. Onder leiding van de General Manager, Mickey Pocornie, omvat het team ook Malvin Oron als Finance Manager, Dwain Cairo als Interim Technical Manager – Electrical en Ricky Tjon – Poen- Gie als Commercial Manager. Daarnaast brengt Casanova Sanchez zijn uitgebreide kennis in als Technical Manager – Mechanical. Last but not least is Naomi Austin onze Calculatie Manager, die een essentiële rol speelt in het waarborgen van de nauwkeurigheid en efficiëntie van onze projectkostenberekeningen. Samen vormen zij een hecht team dat zich inzet voor het leveren van hoogwaardige oplossingen en het overtreffen van de verwachtingen van onze klanten.
